"Countdown"
 

One morning I made a fried egg for breakfast. I was fascinated by the color and moisture of the freshly fried egg in the decorated ceramic plate. I immediately wanted to fix this impression and took a photograph. This led to “Countdown”, an art project in which the egg and the plate took on a different significance, questioning time, womanhood and human relationships. The recurring image echoes the rhythmic development of time within the framework of expectations and daily tension, a woman’s calendar…
