Khalil Rabah was born in 1961 in Ramallah. He is one of Palestine's avant-garde conceptual artists who works in the mediums of installation, video and performance. He graduated from Texas University and has exhibited in Jerusalem, Italy, Germany, France, UK and Sao Paulo, Sydney and Kwangju Biennials. He is one of the founders of The Ma'mal Foundation for Contemporary Art in Jerusalem and established The Palestinian Museum of Natural History and Humankind in 2004. His work is characterized by an ironic and metaphoric interrogation of both national and personal identity and its representations.
