Method In this feature, we are about to explore a new technique in photography. After experimenting with different photography techniques from simple smudging to multiple exposures, I felt a deep connection to the qualities embraced in the use of light, shade, transparency and opacity. My reaction towards dealing with the concepts of nostalgia, home, homelessness, separation, identity, implied using imaginary layers.... to reflect the complexity of ideas and respond to the confusion in feelings and circumstances. I called this process “Hybrid imaging” it responds to my personal experience of living in Palestine and to the technical qualifications I gained throughout the years working with photography and graphic design.
