Steve Sabella was born in Jerusalem on May 19th, 1975. He completed a Diploma in Master Travel through the American Correspondence Schools ICS in 1994, then graduated with a three year Diploma in Art Photography from the Jerusalem School of Photography in 1997. He is currently studying at the Empire State College “SUNY” program through the State University of New York. His solo exhibitions include shows in Nablus, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Gaza, Jerusalem, and Montreal. He participated in group exhibitions in New York, Ramallah, Germany, Chicago, Italy, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv.  In 2001 he was the first photographer featured in This Week in Palestine’s Photographer of the Month section. In 2002 he was one of the winners of the A.M. Qattan Foundation’s Young Artist Award Competition, and was awarded a prize of $3300 for high technical skills and consistency between artwork and the project. In 2005 he was chosen by Pillars Magazine as one of Palestine's Trade Marks. Also in 2005, the French Consulate of Jerusalem sponsored the exhibition of his collaborative group show, “Kan Yama Kan.” The French Consulate also sponsored his exhibition entitled “End of Days,” in 2005.
