This exhibition is part of the Exhibitions Program for 2011, which aims to introduce the university and the local community to the contemporary art practice.
It provides the opportunity to view different experiments for a group of young artists who used different artistic forms in composing concepts. In addition to the museum’s space, some works were installed in other contexts in the university's public spaces allowing the exhibition to introduce the students’ community to endless potentials of the creation of the concept, production, and the installation of the art work.
There are many concepts and technical methods used in the art works which make the works energetic, rich contribution of thoughts and questions about what is political, social, and humanitarian, adapting the art practice with its endless potentials for experimenting and exploring these questions.
This exhibition comes in manifestation of the Museum’s cooperation with other Palestinian cultural and art associations. The selected works were produced during 2010 in “The Young Artist of the Year” at A. M. Qattan Foundation, the “Open Studio” at Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center, and ”Palestinian Young Artists” at Palestinian Art Court- Alhoash.
